Just metres away from the shooting studio is a fully equipped workshop where all animation sets and hard models are constructed. Our modern workshop has fully equipped machining facilities for complex armature construction, MIG welding facilities, a large paint spray booth, a baking oven specifically for latex construction, a fibre glassing area and props storage.
Next to the workshop is our model making room specifically for clay model construction. This is where all our Clay models are sculpted to create our characters each with a unique look. Our model makers are a big bunch of friendly, funny guys that love what they do, and can create some spectacular things that would blow your mind. Seems like they have too much fun sometimes
to class it as “work” though.
Our workshop’s so close to the studio, which is great because it means the animators get invaluable support from the model makers during animation shoots. If there are alterations required to the models, the model makers are instantly available to assist on set.
Anifex is the only animation facility set up with this advantage. Pretty neat hey?!
