Our Camera Department.

The Anifex camera department is a self contained camera facility set up specifically for shooting animation.

There are three 35mm MKII S35R Mitchell motion picture camera kits and one Mitchell NC 35mm animation motion picture camera kit. One of the MKII cameras is a top load for use on the motion control rig.

The MKII S35R’s run from 1fps to 120fps crystal locked using lynx C-50 motors. They are fitted with BNCR lens mounts.

Anifex also own a substantial amount of lighting and grip equipment.

To assist with stop frame animation Anifex use personal animation recorders with digital mixing desks which provide the ability to record and playback animation as well as live action straight after the shot has been committed to film.

The camera department take a great deal of pride in their cameras. The cameras are serviced and maintained in house to the highest and most exacting standard.
