We shoot our animation on 35mm film or Canon DSLRs.

While we love to have a good time while we are at work, we do take our camera maintenance seriously. Long hours animating and burning the midnight oil is a waste of time if the camera doesn’t function properly!

We have three 35mm Mitchell MKII motion picture camera kits and numerous Canon DSLRs cameras which shoot hi-res 16 bit images. Our camera guys take a great deal of pride in their equipment!

The Mitchells run from 1fps to 120fps crystal locked using Lynx C-50 motors and are fitted with BNCR lens mounts to accept our hi speed motion picture lenses. We also have heaps of lighting and grip equipment.

To assist with stop frame animation we use computer animation recorders with digital mixing. These provide the ability to record and playback the action as we are animating.
